Brittany Sanders
Brittany Sanders is a painter and book artist whose work explores themes of temporality and the perception of truth. Working across painting and print, her practice reflects a conceptual approach grounded in both literary and visual traditions.
At twenty-five, Sanders was the youngest artist represented in Highlights from the Permanent Collection: 1450 to the Present, Tiepolo to Thiebaud at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her work is held in the permanent collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, the Getty Museum, Yale University, and the New York Public Library, among others. She holds a degree from Brown University in Comparative Literature and History of Art and Architecture.
