Kathy Leeds is a Los Angeles–born artist now living and working in Ojai, whose over 40 year practice spans painting, drawing, ceramics, papier-mâché sculpture, and collage. The vessel runs as a consistent thread through her work across all media — a form she returns to for its associations with life, fragility, and spiritual receptivity.

After relocating during the pandemic, the stillness of the Ojai landscape drew her toward more tactile, material-driven forms, deepening a practice built over more than four decades. Moving fluidly between media, Leeds treats each piece as an open inquiry, letting material and process shape where the work lands.
