Pancha Rodillo

Francisca M. Rodillo de Vicente, “Pancha Rodillo” (Santiago, Chile, 1990), is a visual artist based in Mexico. She holds a degree in Fine Arts, along with postgraduate studies in Art Education and a master’s in Art Therapy, training that informs her approach to materiality, narrative, and the emotional dimension of her work.

Through embroidery, quilting, and patchwork, she creates scenes that explore the human experience; motherhood, desire, intimacy, and memory. Playfulness and irony operate as critical tools to probe social conventions and the complexities of emotional life. Her work repositions the domestic within the symbolic, bringing together tenderness, vulnerability, absurdity, and brutality within a single visual field.
